Year Round School Essay - draft - 1.29.14

Michigan's School System should NOT go on to a year-round school schedule, because they would end up learning less. With year round schools, the more vacations allow more chances to forget classes, though the traditional schedule has less vacations, meaning less chances to forget.

Another thing would be summer camp, because people go to summer camp to, usually, learn more in a certain subject, like music camps or art camps or study camps, and with the year round schedules, they would loss these extra boosts in school.

Also, kids will be more stressed, because they will be in school ALL the way into College, so it will be continuous and kids will be very stressed, and teacher’s won’t be able to plan the year, because they are always having classes.

So the reason why Michigan’s schools should NOT go on to Year Round Schools, is because they would end up learning less.

AHW 1.14.14

     Today I had a really horrible headache, but when i got home and took a shower and listened to some Dubstep, my mind cleared instantly. I feel great right now, although I am pretty pissed because the WiFi suddenly got really slow over the weekend and I can barely do anything on my laptop half the time.
     And while I was panting I got paint in my hair, which was actually pretty fun actually, but I started doing a pretty bad job, and I'm just gonna blame it on my headache for now. I am currently saving up money for a few things, mainly a Starcraft 2 bundle, 50% off, and a few other things, but my job is really slow paying, $5 a week, so I might have to find some extra things to do to get money.

     Well my head is about to explode because of my alarm so this is all for today.

     Michigan's should NOT go on to a year-round school schedule, because there are lots of things that run with the traditional schedule, and wouldn't be possible with a year round schedule, and they also won't leanr more, they will end up learning less.
     Lots of people don't go on vacation during the school year, because they will miss a lot of work, and have to make it up, so that's why lots of people go on vacation over the summer, because then they don't need make-up work. Another thing is Summer Camp. Lots of kids go to summer camp, so they can learn more on a topic in school, like music camps, or art camps and lots of other things, like math camp. Kids also like to be on a swim team, but that wouldn't be possible if there was a year round schedule.
     The year-round schools also give kids too much stress, and makes it hard for them to work for a long time. And the more vacations allow more chances to forget classes, though the traditional schedule has less vacations, meaning less chances to forget.

AHW 1.12.14

    So there is this thing called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and the peopl ewho like it are called Bronies. No I am a formal Brony, but my brother and I watched a movie about Bronies and now I think I am a Brony again. I really don't know what to say, but Bronies are a lot more than what most people think. We aren't 'fags' in fact, Bronies are one of the biggest groups or Fandoms (The community that surrounds a tv show/movie/book etc), and one of the only with their own music, animations, and conventions, only for that Fandom. I'd say My Little Pony is actually one of the Strongest Fandoms, and we can't be beaten down.

    And so I am proud to be part of something called Fandoms United, which is an organization where if you are part of Fandoms United, you look out for all other fandoms. Plus, the My Little Pony fandom is one of the only Fandoms that get a lot of hate, so I feel proud to be Brony, and any other fandom, because I am a follower of Fandoms United, and Fandoms United is a proud standing group and won't fall easily.

AHW 1.9.14

Agh!! I am flipping out right now. I don't know why, but i just feel stressed because I have to do so much stuff in order for me to be able to make the Scratch game good, but the 5th Graders in my group have high expectations, but they don't realize hard it is, how many lines of code and the different variables and movements, and making him be able to move and talk and things.

     Like I said before, I really do not need to be freaking out, I just am because there is so much to do, and I am supprised I even got this in.

     Plus my schedule is a little messed up because play rehersal is until six, and then i got home, ate dinner, and I have barley any time to do my homework, but I seem to doing most of it so that is good. I am now gonna finish up my homework and then go to bed to start again on Friday, but this month is gonna be hard.

Christmas Break Writing

     This Christmas had to have been one of the best. I got about two years worth of presents, and my  brother got a MacBook Pro for his birthday. Plus, it is snowing like crazy, and its gonna be below zero, so we might not have school for maybe the whole week.

     I got an iPhone 5s, and the Elder Scrolls Anthology, and an Xbox One and I bought myself Saints Row IV: The Game of the Generation edition, and its really cool. I also got a Universal Programmable Sonic Screwdriver, a mini Sonic Screwdriver and a Vortex Manipulate. So far, this has been the best Christmas EVER!! It probably won't be topped for a while.
